back to overviewThe crop development reports provide insights into hop growth throughout the vegetation period. In August 2025, around 70 liters of rainfall ensured sufficient water supply for the hop fields in the Hallertau.
Temperatures were above the long-term average. However, with only six hot days, the month felt comparatively moderate. Between May and August, a total of 22 days exceeded 30°C – noticeably fewer than in 2024 (30 days) and 2023 (27 days). The record remains 2015, with 36 hot days.
The effects of such weather patterns on yield and quality are well known from previous harvests. Looking ahead to the upcoming harvest, we are now particularly eager to see the alpha values of 2025.
